Epilogue

The grand master suite upstairs smelled of sandalwood, fresh jasmine, and expensive French perfume. Riya sat before a grand mahogany vanity mirror, draped in a heirloom crimson lehenga rich with hand-woven gold zardozi work. Her hands, decorated with deep, fragrant henna, brushed against the silk of her skirt. She looked breathtaking, but her knuckles were white from gripping the edge of the dressing table.

On either side of her stood the two women who held her heart: Aadhya and Disha.Aadhya wore an exquisite royal blue tissue silk saree, her long dark hair styled in soft waves over one shoulder. She stepped behind Riya, gently resting her hands over her shoulders. Ever since the emotional revelations of the past-where Aadhya was revealed as Aryan's long-lost biological sister-their dynamic had shifted into something sacred. Riya didn't just see Aadhya as her brother's biological sister; she treated her like her own cherished younger sister.

"Riya di, look at me," Aadhya whispered softly, meeting her eyes through the glass. "Stop holding your breath. You look like absolute royalty. Krish bhai is going to lose his mind the second you step onto the mandap."

Riya let out a shaky breath, turning slightly to hold Aadhya's wrist. "Aadhu... my heart is beating so fast. What if I stumble? What if Krish says something totally absurd during the vows?"Disha, who was struggling to secure her heavy Kundan earrings while holding a velvet box of hairpins, let out a light laugh.

"Oh, he will say something absurd, Riya!" Disha teased, stepping over to adjust the delicate gold matha patti on Riya's forehead.

"Disha Bhabhi!" Riya giggled, the knot of anxiety in her stomach loosening instantly. She looked up at both of them, her eyes brimming with unshed tears. "I don't know what I would have done without both of you today. Disha Bhabhi, you've been my absolute pillar... and Aadhu, having you here, after everything our family has walked through to finally be whole... it feels like a dream."

Aadhya's eyes softened, a gentle, tender smile gracing her lips. She leaned down and pressed a soft kiss against Riya's cheek. "We are whole because we chose love, Riya di. Blood gave me Aryan bhai, but life gave me you and Disha. You are my sister in every way that matters."

"Alright, no tears!" Disha warned quickly, fanning Riya's face with a silk handkerchief. "Or your makeup artist is going to throw a fit! Besides... Aadhya bhabhi needs to stay completely relaxed today."Riya blinked, looking between Disha and Aadhya. "Wait... what do you mean?"

Aadhya blushed, a soft, radiant pink flooding her cheeks as her right hand moved instinctively to rest over her lower abdomen-still smooth, but carrying a tiny, precious secret.Riya's jaw dropped. "Aadhu...! Are you...?"

Aadhya gave a soft, tearful nod. "Eight weeks. Reyansh and I only found out two days ago. We haven't even told the extended family yet... we wanted today to be entirely yours.""Oh, Aadhu!" Riya cried out softly, carefully pulling Aadhya into a tight, warm hug, taking care not to crush her dress. "Another baby! Adhira is going to be a big sister!"

"Yes," Aadhya laughed gently, touching her stomach. "Which means Reyansh is being extra overprotective today, and Disha is treating me like glass.""Because you are delicate right now," Disha insisted with playful authority. "Now, both of my sweet sisters need to calm down so we can finish the final drape!"

Downstairs in the sprawling glass-enclosed pavilion, the celebration was in full swing. Vibrant dhol beats echoed off the high marble pillars, welcoming corporate executives, foreign diplomats, and high-society guests.

Navigating the crowd with an commanding, effortlessly powerful presence was Aryan Malhotra. Dressed in a tailored ivory raw-silk sherwani with a rich emerald necklace against his chest, he looked every bit the formidable eldest son of the house.

Yet beneath his calm, boardroom demeanor, Aryan's eyes kept darting toward the grand staircase. His heart was heavy with the poignant realization that his little sister was getting married.

The grand banquet hall was a feast for the senses. Fifty-yard-long tables held royal Mughlai spreads, live street food stations, and decadent sweets.Sitting side-by-side on two plush velvet high chairs in front of the Mughlai counter were two-year-old Aarav and two-year-old Adhira."
Aarav, dressed in a tiny replica of his father's ivory kurta, was bouncing in his seat, his wild dark curls framing his chubby face. Next to him, Adhira sat in a miniature pink lehenga, her big dark eyes watching everything intently.Standing right in front of them, with his expensive designer sleeves neatly rolled up to his elbows, was Reyansh. He was completely engrossed in his task, using his hands to carefully shred tender pieces of panner biryani and mix it with a velvety, mild Shahi Paneer gravy on a silver plate."Alright, my little princess," Reyansh cooed gently, blowing on a small hand-rolled ball of rice and gravy before holding it up to Adhira. "Open wide for Papa..."

Adhira opened her mouth wide. "Aaaah!"Reyansh carefully fed her with his fingers, making sure not a drop touched her dress. Adhira chewed happily, kicking her tiny feet. "Papa! Yammyyy!"

"So yummy, right baby?" Reyansh smiled, kissing her forehead. He turned back to the plate, rolling another tiny bite.

Aarav couldn't take it anymore. He leaned forward over his tray, his doe eyes wide with toddler urgency, and patted Reyansh's arm repeatedly with his chubby hand."Mamu! Mule bhi! Mamu... aah!" Aarav demanded loudly.(Mamu! Me too! Mamu... aah!)

Reyansh's heart melted completely at his nephew calling him Mamu. "Coming right up, Aru!" He carefully guided the hand-rolled bite into Aarav's waiting mouth.Aarav chewed with pure delight, a happy hum vibrating in his throat. "Mmm! Mamu, pani puli bhi! Pani puli!"

(Mamu, pani puri too! Pani puri!)"Pani puri too?" Reyansh laughed, grabbing a sweet, child-friendly tamarind puri from the live chaat counter behind him. He fed it straight to Aarav, then made another one for Adhira.Aryan walked into the hall just in time to see his formidable brother-in-law standing like a dedicated butler, feeding both toddlers directly with his hands.

"Reyansh!" Aryan called out, stepping closer with a mix of disbelief and deep amusement. "Is this what you call 'watching' the kids? You're running a full-time daycare catering service!"Aarav's face lit up as he spotted his father. "Papa! Dekho! Mamu ne biryani diya! Paneer gravy dichh!"

(Papa! Look! Mamu gave biryani! Paneer gravy like this!)

Aryan chuckled, bending down to kiss Aarav's head. "He gave you biryani, huh?" He raised an eyebrow at Reyansh, who was currently wiping a streak of sweet tamarind chutney off Aarav's chin with his thumb-though a bright yellow paneer gravy stain had already settled right on the chest of Aarav's white silk kurta.

"Hey, don't look at me like that," Reyansh said smoothly, feeding Adhira another tiny bite. "They were hungry. And when Aarav looks at me and says 'Mamu, aah,' I lose all my discipline.""Mamu, aah!" Aarav repeated on cue, opening his mouth for another sweet puri.Reyansh popped it in happily. Aarav chewed in absolute bliss, chutney dribbling down onto his neck.

Aryan groaned, rubbing his temples. "Oh boy... Disha is going to kill us both. His clothes are completely ruined."

"Relax, Aryan," Reyansh smirked. "It's a wedding. Clothes can be washed, but Mamu-nephew bonding is priceless."

"REYANSH! ARYAN!"The voice sliced through the air with terrifying precision.Aryan instantly straightened up. Reyansh froze mid-motion, holding a half-eaten puri like a piece of evidence.

Walking into the banquet hall with graceful yet furious strides were Aadhya and Disha.Disha took one look at Aarav-his white kurta stained yellow, his chin sticky with chutney, and Reyansh standing there holding a plate-and her hands went straight to her waist."Mera bacha...!" Disha gasped, rushing over. "Bhaiya! Aryan! What have you two done to my son's outfit?!"

Aadhya walked up beside them, her eyes narrowing as she looked at Reyansh. "Reyansh... I specifically told you to keep them away from heavy food before the ceremony! You were supposed to give them light fruit!"

Reyansh immediately switched to his most disarming husband charm. He stepped close to Aadhya, wrapping a gentle arm around her waist and pulling her soft body against his, keeping his hand protectively near her back.

"Aadhya, love... listen to me," Reyansh murmured softly in her ear, his deep voice dripping with affection. "Our daughter looked at me with her big eyes and said 'Papa, food.' And then your nephew called me 'Mamu' so sweetly. You know I can't resist them... especially when they remind me so much of you."

Aadhya tried to maintain her stern face, but her lips betrayed a tiny smile. She looked up at him, her dark eyes filled with soft warmth. "You spoil them way too much, Reyansh. And you're supposed to be resting me, not making me chase you around."

"I'll carry you everywhere if you're tired, sweetheart," Reyansh whispered back, pressing a sweet, lingering kiss to her temple.

Meanwhile, Aryan faced Disha's dramatic wrath."Aryan! Aapne Bhaiya ko roka kyun nahi?" Disha scolded, wiping Aarav's face with a damp napkin while Aarav giggled stickily. "Aap toh baap ho na? Pure kurta pe gravy gira di!"(Aryan! Why didn't you stop Bhaiya? You're his father, right? You spilled gravy over his whole kurta!)

Aryan didn't argue. Instead, he stepped into Disha's personal space, sliding his large hands securely around her slender waist. He pulled her flush against his broad chest, ignoring her slight push, and leaned down so his lips brushed the delicate shell of her ear.

"Lavender..." Aryan rumbled softly, his voice low, velvety, and deeply intimate. "Look how happy our son is. His Mamu fed him with so much love. Don't be mad at me... you know how weak I am when it comes to my family."

Disha's breath caught in her throat. The sharp tone in her voice vanished, replaced by a deep, helpless flutter in her chest. She looked up into Aryan's dark, smoldering eyes, her cheeks burning red.

"Aap... aap hamesha aise baat karke mujhe confuse kar dete ho," Disha murmured, her hands resting against his broad chest, her fingers curling into his sherwani.(You... you always talk like this and confuse me.)"It works every time, doesn't it?" Aryan whispered with a wicked, possessive smirk, leaning down to press a firm, warm kiss right on her pouting lips.

"Aryan! The kids are right here!" Disha gasped softly, blushing furiously as she pulled back, though her smile was uncontrollable.Aarav clapped his sticky hands together, pointing at his parents. "Papa puchi! Mumma puchi!"(Papa kiss! Mumma kiss!)The entire group broke into laughter, the lingering tension evaporating into pure family warmth.

An hour later, the venue quieted as the divine sound of temple bells and Vedic chants filled the evening air.The mandap was a breathtaking sight-adorned with shimmering brass oil lamps, hanging crystals, and thousands of fresh white orchids.Krish sat on the raised wooden dais in a maroon silk sherwani. His usual mischievous banter was entirely gone, replaced by a nervous, quiet reverence as he waited for his bride."Presenting the bride!" the priest announced.

The massive carved doors opened. A collective gasp echoed through the assembly.Riya walked down the aisle under a glowing floral canopy of fresh tuberose. Holding the four corners of the canopy were her brothers-with Aryan and Reyansh leading the front with proud, protective steps.Behind her, Aadhya and Disha walked gracefully, keeping her long bridal drape floating smoothly over the red carpet.Aryan guided Riya up the steps of the mandap. Before stepping down, he held her hand tightly, then looked directly into Krish's eyes.

"Krish," Aryan said, his deep voice carrying a quiet, unwavering authority. "She is the light of our house. Love her, honor her, and protect her."Krish looked at Aryan with absolute sincerity, bowing his head slightly. "With my whole life, Aryan. Always."

As the sacred rituals began and the priest started chanting the mantras for the pheras, Aryan stepped down to join his family in the front row.Disha stood there holding a freshly changed, clean-clothed Aarav, who was resting his head tiredly on her shoulder. Aryan walked up behind her, wrapping his long arms around her waist, pulling her back against his chest. He rested his chin in the crook of her neck, his hands resting over hers as they held their son.

"She looks so happy, Aryan," Disha whispered softly, leaning back into his solid, comforting warmth.

"She is," Aryan murmured against her skin, pressing a gentle kiss to her neck. "And so am I. With you, with Aarav... with this life we built."A few feet away, Reyansh stood with his arm wrapped securely around Aadhya's waist, keeping her tucked safely against his side to ensure she didn't feel any fatigue. Little Adhira was cradled comfortably in his other arm, her eyes half-closed.

Reyansh rested his hand gently over Aadhya's lower abdomen, his thumb making slow, protective circles over her stomach where their second child was growing.Aadhya looked up at Reyansh, her eyes sparkling with quiet joy. She leaned her head against his shoulder, her hand resting over his on her belly. "Thank you for taking such good care of us, Reyansh."

"Always, Aadhu," Reyansh whispered, kissing her temple. "You three are my entire world."Across the mandap, Aadhya met Aryan's eyes. A deep, silent understanding passed between the biological siblings-a shared acknowledgement of the painful past they had survived, and the beautiful, rich present they now inhabited. Aryan gave her a subtle, proud nod, and Aadhya smiled back, her heart full.

Under the glowing canopy, as Krish and Riya took their seven sacred steps around the holy fire-promising seven lifetimes of devotion-the Malhotra and Singhania families stood bound together.

Aarav let out a soft, sleepy sigh, burying his face into Disha's neck, his tiny hand holding tightly onto Aryan's finger. Surrounded by sacred fire, soft chants, and deep romance, the mansion settled into an enduring, beautiful peace.

Aryan, looking stoic, though the muscle feebly twitching in his jaw betrayed his emotions.

Riya took one look at her elder brother and threw her arms around his neck, weeping freely against his shoulder. "Bhaiya..."

Aryan wrapped his arms securely around her, resting his cheek against her forehead, abandoning his tough corporate facade completely.

"You will always be my little girl, Riya," Aryan murmured, his deep voice thick with emotion. "No matter where you go, this house-and your brother-will always be standing right behind you."

Reyansh stepped up beside Aryan, giving Riya an affectionate tap on her shoulder and a warm hug. "If Krish steps out of line, you know who to call, Riya."

Seeing the room drowning in heavy tears, Krish decided it was time to step in before everyone turned the courtyard into a river.

He stepped up beside Riya, pulling out a crisp silk handkerchief from his suit pocket and clumsily wiping her tears while making exaggerated face expressions.

"Okay, okay, pause the dramatic music!" Krish declared loudly, turning to Aryan and Reyansh with his hands raised in mock surrender.

"Aryan, Reyansh... why are you both looking at me like I'm kidnapping her?" Krish joked, throwing an arm around Riya's shoulder. "I am literally taking her fifteen minutes down the road! And honestly, with the amount of shopping luggage she packed, I feel like I'm the one moving into her house!"

Riya let out a wet, breathless laugh, hitting Krish gently on his chest. "Krish! Stop it!"

"What? I'm serious!" Krish grinned, turning to Disha and Aadhya. "Disha , please tell your husband that if he keeps giving me that 'older brother death stare,' I am going to bring Riya back every weekend for dinner and eat all his food."

Disha chuckled, wiping her own tears. "You're welcome anytime, Krish."
