"nenem mutukonu le nuvu ala cheyaku.."
i wont touch you but don't jerk you hand..
he turned his face....
"rest tesko.."
take rest she said and sat on couch. she knows right now he doesnt like her being beside.
The hospital room smelled faintly of antiseptic and medicines. The pale light fell across Vedansh's face, making him look even more exhausted.
Anu, sitting on the thin couch beside his bed, watched him with a soft ache in her chest.
He still hadn't spoken to her since the incident.
Not a word.
Not even a glance.
Every time her hand brushed his—whether she was fixing his blanket, adjusting his pillow, or touching him accidentally—he immediately stroked the spot, wiping it gently like removing her touch.
It stabbed her each time, but she didn't show it.
So she stayed quiet.
Just watching him... the rise and fall of his chest... the way he clenched his jaw even in sleep... proof that somewhere inside, he was still angry. Still hurting.
Outside, Rahul had gone to bring Kavita, Lakshmi, and RajyaLakshmi to the hospital.
Now only two people were left in the quiet room.
Anu slowly walked toward the bed.
She sat down near Vedansh, her fingers trembling slightly before they rested in his hair.
He moved—not away, but into her touch, as if his body recognized comfort even when his heart didn't want to.
A tiny, peaceful smile appeared on his sleeping lips.
Anu's eyes grew moist.
She bent forward and planted a soft kiss on his forehead.
Then his temple.
Then she kissed the top of his hair, letting her lips linger just a second longer.
For a moment, it felt like he was hers again.
Only hers.
But the moment scattered when she heard the sound of footsteps outside.
The door opened.
Kavita's emotional voice filled the room even before she stepped inside.
Vedansh stirred awake.
The moment his eyes opened and saw Anu so close, she instantly moved back—quickly, quietly—her heart tightening in her chest.
Kavita rushed to her son.
"Vedansh!" she cried, hugging him tightly.
He hugged her back weakly.
"Ma... don't cry. I'm here only. I'm fine."
But she didn't stop.
"Why do you drive like that at night, Ved? What if something had happened? I was so scared..."
He didn't answer.
Just gave a small, tired smile.
After one week
The doctor checked him and said, "He can be discharged by evening."
And by evening, they took him home.
Rahul went with Vedansh into his room. Just incaseBut the plasters are removed and he also healed.
Lakshmi and Raja Lakshmi followed quietly.
Anu stood away from him this whole week—
because she knew the truth.
If she went near, Vedansh might hurt himself again out of anger.
So she kept her distance, no matter how much it tore her heart.
Krishna didn't come near either.
He sat alone in the hall, guilt weighing him down like a mountain.
The house felt too silent.
Too heavy.
In the kitchen, Kavita and Lakshmi prepared dinner.
Lakshmi handed Anu a bowl of hot soup.
"Anu, take this to bava."
Kavita immediately panicked.
"Let it be... I'll take it. What if he gets angry again?"
Lakshmi sighed.
"If they're angry, let them be. They will sort it out eventually. That's what we want, right?"
Anu quietly nodded and took the bowl.
She entered the room softly.
Vedansh lay on the bed, eyes closed—
but Anu knew he wasn't sleeping.
"Bava..." she whispered.
No response.
"Please get up... you have to eat something."
Still nothing.
"At least a few spoons, bava. Please. Medicine will hurt your stomach otherwise..."
Silence.
She moved closer.
"Vedansh... please. Just one bite."
His eyes opened slowly—tired, irritated, full of unspoken frustration.
"I said I don't want to eat."
Her voice cracked, but she tried again.
"Please... since morning you didn't—"
That was it.
He pushed the bowl away with sudden anger.
It crashed.
Hot soup spilled everywhere—
onto the floor
and onto her hand.
"Ah..." Anu gasped softly as the burn stung her skin.
She immediately lowered her hand, trying to hide the pain.
But Vedansh saw it.
Saw her flinch.
Saw her quietly bearing it.
"Anu..." he breathed, his voice shaking.
"Anu! Show me your hand—what happened?"
She pulled back.
"Nothing, bava... it's—"
But he had already held her wrist carefully.
The burn was red... painful.
His entire expression shattered with guilt.
"Why didn't you move back? Damn it... you should've stepped away—"
His words were rough, but his touch was gentle.
He took the first aid box and applied ointment, blowing to cool the sting.
Anu just watched him with soft eyes.
"Next time... don't stand so close when I'm angry," he whispered, voice breaking.
Anu smiled faintly through tears.
"If I don't stand close, who will take care of you?"
He looked down, unable to answer.
Vedansh was still holding her hand, applying ointment gently.
His brows were pressed together, guilt sitting heavy in his eyes.
He didn't say anything—just focused on her burn, blowing softly so it wouldn't sting.
Anu's heart twisted.
Seeing him so silent... seeing him hurting... seeing him caring even when he was angry...
It was too much.
Without thinking, she leaned forward and hugged him.
Wrapped her arms around him tightly, her face pressed into his shoulder.
"I'm sorry, bava..." her voice broke immediately.
"bava naku nijanga nijam telidhu appudu...nana nidhi ki ala chepadani telidhu..nuvu nana collar patukunesariki ala react aiya sorry bava.."
Bava i really didn't know that nana spoke to nidhi like that and i just saw you holding his collar and because of that i reacted like that..
"nuvu correct chesav Anuhya" she got broken not because of his words because he called anuhya by her name in his whole life he never used that....
"You did the right thing, Anuhya."
"nee thapu em ledu.. anta nene chesa..nanu love cheyatam vale kada nuvu regret avutunav....anta nene chesa.. nene yedava ni ...ippudu kuda enduku unnano..aa accident lone poiunte baunde-" she slapped before he completes.
"It's not your fault... everything is because of me. You're regretting because you loved me... I caused it. I'm the fool... even now I don't know why I'm alive—if I had just gone in that accident, it would've been bette—"
"Anuhya..." he roared..
"anu nanu anu ani piluvu first nuvu.... enduku ila matladutunav....naku appudu kopam lo teliyaka anesa...." she said.
"Don't call me Anuhya... call me Anu first! Why are you talking like this... I said those words only in anger, without thinking..."
"nenu thapu em anala nuvu mee nana ne correct velli mee vaishnav bava ne pelli chesko po.."
"I didn't say anything wrong. Go and marry your Vaishnav bava... forget everything."
"bava nenu evarini cheskonu..naku evar odhu nuve kavali.." she clutched his shirt and crying...
"I won't marry anyone! I don't want anyone else... I want only you."
"nanu odhulu first ala nanu mutukovadam correct kaadu..nee kaboye mogudu ki nachadu vaishnav em anukuntadu.. odhulu naa shirt.." he said.
"Leave me. Holding me like this isn't right... your future husband won't like it. What will Vaishnav think? Leave my shirt."
Anu shook her head and still clutching his shirt and face buried in his neck....
"actually nuvu manchi pani chesav nanu odhani lekapothe life long regret feel aidhanivi inta kopam unavaditho toh ela undedanivo...manchi decision vaishnav toh pelli ki opukunav....happy married life..happy ga undu vaditho ."
"Actually, you did the right thing. If you hadn't left me, you would've regretted it all your life. With someone like me—always angry—how would you live? The best decision is to agree to marry Vaishnav... happy married life. Be happy with him."
anu buried depply into him and sobbing loudly...
"esari if any one proposes me i will ask her first you have any problem with my anger and if she has no problem then only i will marry her..." he said to provoke her.
"Next time if someone proposes to me, I'll ask her first—'Do you have a problem with my anger?' If she says no, then only I'll marry her.
she removed her face and glared him..
"what nuvu pellicheskuntunav kada mee vaishnav bava toh and don't expect me that i will remain as unmarried.. evaroka ammai ni rasi petuntad le devudu na kosam.. a ammai oche varuku eduru chusta amekosam..ee sari manchi love story create chesukunta aa ammaitoh ante future lo naa pillalaki chepukovali kada vala amma ni Ela kalisano.." that's it anu patience broke
"what.. you're also planning to get married with your vaishanv bava right! And don't expect me to stay unmarried. God must have written someone for me too! I'll wait for that girl to come into my life, and I'll create a nice love story between us—so that in future I can tell it to my kids also!" he said.
"naku telusu nuvu kavalane ila matladutunav...sorry chepan ga aina kavalani chi peh i hate you.." she said with hiccups moving away from him...
"I know you're saying all this just to hurt me! I already said sorry! Still you're—ugh—I hate you!"
"ha telusu le naku, mee cool vaishnav bava undaga mem enduku nachutam le-" she didn't let him complete...and pulled his collar and kissed him tears flowing
"Yeah right, I know... you love only your cool vaishnav bava—why would u love me-
He tried to push her away, his hands rising to her shoulders, a futile resistance against the tide of her anguish.
"Ayy, stop. you shouldn't suppose to.."
But she pulled him closer still, her fingers digging into his collar. Her teeth, sharp and unforgiving, sank into his lower lip. A gasp escaped him, a sound of surprise and pain.
His own hands, no longer pushing, tangled in the thick cascade of her dark hair. He fisted it, twisting, pulling, asserting a sudden, raw dominance. Her head tilted back, exposing the delicate curve of her neck, a silent invitation, a surrender.
His mouth descended again, no longer a gentle kiss, but a furious, devouring act. He bit back, a primal response to her own aggression, tasting the coppery tang of his blood on her lips. His tongue plunged into her mouth, a desperate invasion, hot and demanding. Hers met it, a dance of fury and longing, a silent scream echoing between them. He pulled harder on her hair, a sharp tug that elicited a soft gasp from her throat, a sound swallowed by the ferocity of their exchange.
Their bodies pressed flush, the thin fabric of their clothes no barrier to the heat radiating between them. Each breath was a ragged gasp, each movement a desperate claiming. He devoured her, seeking to erase the distance, the impending separation, the very idea of another man.
